Scenario: Being caught in bed with another man’s wife. Not just any wife of any man, but the wife of a man who will kill you, in a place where he could do it and get away with it.
Mid-thrust, 5 thrusts away from coming to an end, the long-awaited ejaculation and going to sleep for the night in the motel-room. You are exhausted by all the different positions, and her sheer enthusiasm. There is a knock at the door. A firm, authoritative knock, or perhaps a stealthy one made with the left hand while the other hand holds a gun. You pause, because up until now you had put her marriage from your mind. A voice with a thick Southern accent (or the local equivalent if you are not in the USA) calls out her name. You realize from the look on her face that this is indeed him.
Most men would, in this circumstance, panic. Few men would have the single-mindedness to finish. A very small number would actually be so excited that no further thrusting would be necessary to finish. This post is for most men.
He knows what room you are in, which means he has either been following her or been tipped. This means that he is prepared, either to tell her goodbye, take pictures, or murder both of you. The Southern accent tells you that the latter two options are more likely with this man than with other men. Your options are:
- To wait until he leaves
Not viable because he probably won’t leave, he may just ambush you in the parking-lot. You have no idea how unhinged this person is. It could be that he has been waiting all his adult life for an opportunity to kill somebody in a setting that justifies the deed. - To open the door to confront him
This is the brave, honorable thing to do. The problem is that most men are not brave, and by sleeping with his wife you are probably not honorable. Also, this makes you vulnerable to attack. If it works out you will emerge with your self-respect, assuming you had any to begin with. - To open the door and shove her out there and then call the cops
It might work, but she probably won’t have sex with you anymore, and you will look like a coward. This is, however, practical. He will want to kill you too, but he will probably want to kill her just as badly. Shoving her out there will allow you to gauge his mood. If he proceeds to beat on her, then you know that you have someone who is merely out to assault, not necessarily to murder if you feel comfortable using your fists, you can go out and kick his ass. Check through the peephole to make sure he has not brought friends. - To open the door and sucker-punch him
Rednecks tend to be relatively comfortable swinging their fists, so watch out. A well-delivered sucker-punch can be difficult to recover from, take the time to inflict maximum pain and you may be able to make it out of there unharmed. The problem is the next day and the day after that. Will she make up with him? Will she tell him where you live/work? - Kill her, then invite him in and frame him for the murder
Then you kill him too, in “self-defense”. It works best if killing him would actually be self-defense. Normally something like this would require you to be a sociopath, or a well-trained military person, or both. You would need to plan and train for it. Now that you have read this post, you don’t have to, allow it to ferment in your subconscious, to emotionally prepare you for the situation so that when it omes you will be calm and steady.
