You know this world is ripe for a takeover. Back in the day, and by “day” I mean the earlier parts of human history, a man could find all kinds of gullible suckers to embark upon any kind of bullshit notion he wanted. It was like a planet full of retards in which the ambitious average man could not help but be king. People had no access to education, and nothing about their daily lives made being able to add and read seem necessary. Education was an unnecessary encumbrance and so people could be manipulated by some simple bullshit. You could come up with your own religion and if you were a good enough talker you could sell it, no matter how stupid it was. You could lead people to go takeover countries and they would follow you because they needed the work and you sounded like a man who knew his shit and that was enough. Well, guess what? We are back there again, despite the fact that lots of people know how to read and write. That just makes them more useful for those who want to manipulate them. The bullshit is a little more complicated than “this rock told me to kill you”, but it’s the same principle.
You can’t help but come to the conclusion that people are just simple suckers for a good talker and that they want to be lead because they have worthless lives. Reading and writing are just means for them to find and disseminate stupid ideas. Before they were gaps, holes that could be exploited by a demagogue, but demagogues have evolved and this new set exploits the ability to read, when it comes with the inability to think clearly.
So here’s the question: are you going to be a Hitler PT Barnum, or are you going to be a sucker yourself? I suppose there is a third alternative, you could just let all the free meat at the tea-bag parties and political rallies go to waste. All those people can be exploited for your benefit. If you are not yet among them then you probably are too smart to be, so why are you not in control of your own herd? The thing is suckers have to be exploited, if you don’t exploit them they run looking for someone else to do it. They actively need, need, need to be used, that’s what they have been bred for by the corporate world, by TV, by most churches, by politics. To put yourselves above them is to become a kind of moral vegan who refrains from eating meat so that they can enrich some other part of the conglomerated food hydra. You are basically serving the machine’s interests no matter what you do, so it’s probably time to build your own machine, maybe peel off some of the herd for yourself
You know why some men are rich and others poor? It has nothing to do with “talent”, which is a strange notion, it has nothing to do with intelligence, it has to do with will. It’s the same reason that grizzly bears don’t run the planet despite being physically superior to humans. We have the will to kill them, will generated by the lust to kill large animals for fun, and so we developed the technological means to do it easily.
